This year the Seneca East Education participated in the NWOEA Public Relations Grant Program.. Since SEEA would be negotiating a new contract, and we now have 100% membership, it was felt that we could visibly show our strength by purchasing shirts promoting our local association. Funding for this project was provided by a NWOEA grant and an OEA grant.
Once a month we have “Association Day” when the entire membership will wear their shirts. We will have appreciation night at a basketball game where the member and their spouse will get in the game at no charge. We will also be wearing the shirts on the days we negotiate.
There has been numerous positive comments about the members and the wearing of the shirts.
SEEA thanks NWOEA for giving us the funding for this project.
